Experienced mast man looking for fun but competitive boat. I have
spend the last few years living in England, and am now looking
to get on a local boat. Raced two years on Starspray, a Dehler
36, placing 2nd in class in the IRC Solent Series 2009. Willing
to work any position, but most experienced at mast. Easy going,
personable, and able to commit to a full season of racing.
- 28 yr old male looking racing opportunities.
My 2009 Regatta's included St Maarten Classic, Sweet Hearts of
the Caribbean (Tortola), Antigua Classic Race week, Chester Race
Week (Nova Scotia), and Lunenburg Classic (Nova Scotia). As well
as an Atlantic crossing (Antigua to Greece). I was also crew on
Bluenose II for the 2007 season.
I am a life long sailor, fit and fun to sail with. I have all
my own foul weather gear.
If you have an extra spot I'm keen to join you. andreasbankecan@hotmail.com

I would like to crew for Southern Straits... and Swiftsure-- maybe
that's a plus for you.
I am strong, happy, capable, enthusiastic.... a very experienced
beginner. I've raced a lot, both buoy and long distance, year-round
for two years in the greater Seattle area. I've done overnights
(Tri-Island Series, Southern Straits medium course, and Swiftsure
Long Course).
I have all the gear and a great attitude.
Mostly I've sailed boats in the range 29 to 44 feet. Most of my
experience is in the pit, but I've done every position except
helm, bow, and tactics. I was mastman and bow assist on Southern
Straits 2009 (day and night). I am willing to help wherever needed,
including as rail meat.
My usual boats are not doing these races, which is why I'm looking
for a boat.
I love to work hard and win, but equally important,
I want to have fun and build teamwork and friendships.
I would love to do warm-up races with you. Last year I did
the Center Sound Series and the Tri-Island Series as warm-ups
for both Southern Straits and Swiftsure.
If you are a Canadian boat, I am open to coming up to Vancouver
for warm-up races.
Thanks for considering me!
