Courses.

A third course introduced in 2007 will be back by popular demand. Courses have been redesigned for 2010.

* The Long Course (127 NM) is open to boats rated at 110 and lower.
* The Medium Course (87 NM) is open to boats with a rating from 25 to 150.
* The Short Course (58 NM) is open to boats rated at 111 and higher.

Another way to state the course options would be:

* Boats rated 24 and lower must sail the Long Course.
* Boats rated 25 to 110 may saili the Long or the Medium Course.
* Boats rated 111 to 150 may sail the the Medium or Short Course.
* Boats rated 151 and higher must sail the Short Course.

Course details will be published in the Sailing Instructions which will be issued one week prior to race day on this website. They will also be available at the Clubhouse on registration-confirmation day which is the day prior to race day.

to Point Atkinson Finish)

Medium Course (Distance approximately 87NM)
Start Line Dundarave Pier (West Vancouver),
to Navy Buoy WG (leave to Port),
to Hudson Rocks & Five Fingers Island (leave to Port),
to Navy Buoy WG (leave to Starboard),
to Point Atkinson Finish)

Short Course (Distance approximately 58NM)
Start Line Dundarave Pier (West Vancouver),
to Halibut Bank (leave to Port),
to Hudson Rocks & Five Fingers Island (leave to Port),
to Point Atkinson (Finish)
